redsn0w is a popular jailbreak tool that originated back in the 3.0 firmwares. It is a great jailbreaking tool that has served me very well in the past. I don't think that redsn0w has ever failed me. redsn0w 0.9.6rc12 has been released to jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 untethered for all devices except for iPad 2.
In this release a few bugs regarding the iPad were fixed and a cool new feature has been added that will enable the ability to add animated custom boot logos just like greenpois0n did in the 4.2.1 firmware. When you jailbreak you will have access to the widely known Cydia Store which will allow you to have unlimited access to 3rd party applications, themes and games. We will be posting a guide on how to jailbreak with the new redsn0w shortly.
